About the garment
These trousers are designed to be a little baggy. The straps are made with a little extra length and the buttons can be moved, so they can be worn for a long time. The straps and back section are worked first, followed by the front section. Afterwards, the pieces are joined and worked in the round with evenly spaced increases at the sides. Increases are made to form a small rectangle between the legs from which stitches are picked up for the legs. Then each leg is worked in the round with decreases down the leg. The trousers are fully reversible, in the picture they are worn with the wrong side out.
