About the garment
The cardigan has a simple, narrow shape, and is worked in thin wool, to allow it fit comfortably under outerwear. If one wants a looser fit, make one size larger and work the sleeves and body a little shorter. However, do take measurements to work out which size best works for you. The cardigan is worked top down. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline. Increases are made in the round, that is to say a set number of stitches are added on specific rows. The cardigan is worked in the round, and cut down the middle once the button bands have been worked.
