About the blouse
August blouse is worked top down. It has short rows to shape the neckline and is worked flat in stockinette stitch. While working raglan increases, some increases are made towards the middle to shape the neckline. The last raglan increases on some sizes are worked with double increases on the body to have the correct proportions for body and sleeves. On some sizes there are also some increases under the sleeve. After the body is finished, sts are picked up along the whole garment and finished with an i-cord edge. The sleeves are worked in stockinette in the round and finished with an i-cord edge.
To finish 2 i-cord chains are made and sewn onto the blouse.
The fit in this pattern is short with short sleeves. 5 cm of positive ease are included in the circumference with a few cms in the sleeves as well.
The pattern is translated by Elise Damstra.
