About the pattern
Bærit and Bærling are worked in one piece, from the nose to the tail.
The head and body are knitted first. Stitches are then picked up for the ears, legs and tail, which are worked directly from the body. Finally, embroider the eyes and nose.
The sheep can be knitted with or without a sweater. If you choose the sweater version, it is worked as part of the body. The back section is then knitted by picking up stitches on the inside of the sweater ribbing, while the neck ribbing is finished by picking up stitches around the neckline.
This pattern is suitable for knitters who are familiar with increasing, decreasing, knitting stitches together and picking up stitches.
