About the garment and pattern
Knit the neckwarmer as a long rectangle with a hole in the middle. It is worked from the bottom of the front piece, towards the neck. Stitches are cast off in the middle and the shoulders are worked as two pieces. These are the rejoined by re-adding the stitches back in the middle of the work, forming a hole for the collar. From there, the back piece is worked from the top downwards. You start and end with a ribbed edge, the main body of the garment is worked in double moss stitch and cables. After the main body has been worked, stitches are picked up for the collar and worked in rib. To finish, a band is worked at each side at the waist.
Measure your shoulder width and choose a size that is slightly narrower than that.
