About the sweater and pattern
The Fridag sweater is a roomy and cozy sweater that is worked with cables and double moss stitch with wide sleeves. The sweater is worked bottom-up in the round. The work is divided at the underarm to form the arm holes. The front and back pieces are worked flat. Stitches are cast-off in the center to shape the neckline. When the body has been worked, the front and back are seamed together at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and the neckband is worked in rib. Then, stitches are picked up for the sleeves which are worked in double moss stitch in the round, with a few decreases, ending with a ribbed cuff. If desired, some extra crochet detailing can be done at the shoulders, and just above the ribbed edges on the body and cuffs.
