About Little Blakken and the pattern
Little Blakken is a soft little horse who's always ready for new adventures. He is happiest when joining in on cosy cuddle days and imaginative rides through the living room, the forest, or the nursery. With his fluffy coat, tousled mane, and long legs, he is just as lovely to play with as he is to rest your head on at the end of the day.
Little Blakken is worked seamlessly from the muzzle towards the hindquarters. The ears are knitted separately and sewn on before the head is stuffed, while the legs, mane, and tail are added last. The body is shaped with simple increases and decreases to create the horse's soft, rounded form.
The pattern is designed using two strands of Isager Bouclé for the body and Lun Merino for the mane, tail, and hooves. Feel free to experiment with different colours and yarn combinations to give your Little Blakken a unique personality.
