About this pattern
This blanket is knitted top-down. You will start with few stitches and increase to form the head – the ears are knitted on hold on scrap yarn then picked up at the end.
The head is knitted on the round then decreased to form the neck. Stitches are then doubled and divided on two needles, one for the head, one for the rest of the blanket.
The blanket is then divided in 4 parts and increased with raglan stitches. The rounded hems are formed wit short rows, and finished with an i-cord edge.
The ears are knitted last.
The pattern is translated by Cora Henshaw from Norwegian to English.
Pattern support will be limited hence English is not my first language. But I’ll try my best to help.
